They have popular stores to choose from and offer rebates on name brand items. HOW SHOPMIUM WORKS
First, you must obviously Sign up. Then you will be ready to start earning cash back with Shopmium which can be broken down into 6 easy steps.1) Simply browse through the products and coupons that are offered. When you find a rebate you are interested click on it and you can read reviews from other users who have used the rebate.
2) Head out to the store and purchase your items.
3) If you want to make sure your product matches a rebate they offer before you purchase it just hit the check product eligibility tab on the left bottom corner and it will allow you to scan the product barcode.
4) After you have found your items purchase them at the store.
5) Take a picture of your receipt making sure it has the rebate item included in the picture.
6) Finally, request your payment from Shopmium. Your rebate can be sent to either your PayPal or your bank account within 24hrs
For every person, you refer you will receive $2 cash back when they have redeemed their first purchase with Shopmium. Also, that person referred will receive Freebies on their app so it's a win-win situation.
IS SHOPMIUM LEGIT
No Scam here folks. Shopmium is s legit couponing app with real payments. They even offer PayPal or your bank account as payout opinions. Making it quick and simple to receive cash back. On the downside, this app recently lost many of their partners. Although this does not make Shopmium a scam.Shopmium is no longer accepting receipts from the following stores:
-Kroger
-CVS Pharmacy
-Publix
-Meijer
-Fry's
-Harris Teeters
-Ralphs
-Dillons Food Stores
-Copp's
-Food 4 Less
-King Soopers
-Bakers's Supermarkets
-City Market
-Pick n Save

-Pay Less Supermarkets
With all this being said the Shopmium app still continues to work with some of the top retail stores such as Walmart, Rite Aid, and Aldi.
Aldi is the store here that really stands out to me on this list since very few apps offer rebates for this store. Also, given I do a good portion of my shopping at Aldi and I know a lot you guys do too. This is obviously a huge plus for Shopmium.
Important TIP: The app uses GPS on your phone to locate Shopmium acceptable stores in your area.
FINAL THOUGHTS
Shopmium is a user-friendly couponing app that allows you to save on everyday purchases. Pairing Shopmium with other cash back saving apps like Ibotta, Checkout 51 and Receipt Hog will help you maximize your savings on everyday purchases. Personally, since the new update on the list of stores, Shopmium is no longer accepting I have not been using the app as much. With that said I still believe this app is great and still should be mentioned because there are still a lot of savings to be earned.
